New

Normally Open push-magnet operators now available for all our N and Q-series valves and systems

Realizing:
a. More efficient port connections.
b. Full body-orifice flow.
c. Easy NC and NO mixed mounting on manifold-systems.

a. Different from conventional NormallyOpen direct operating valves, N.O. push-magnet valves can be connected the same way as Normally Closed valves; avoiding the many times awkward and complicated ways of connecting NO valves and systems. See examples below. Flo Control push-magnet operators are designed to be mounted on all FC standard valve bodies and manifold systems. PDF catalogue pages are added to our PDF library.

b. With push-magnet 2/2-NO operators full “body orifice” flow can be achieved, while using conventional direct operated 2/2-NO operators often restricts the flow capacity.

c. Used on manifolds, push-magnet operators make it easily possible to mix-mount NC and NO functions on the same base with common in or outlets.

Examples showing the advantages of using push-magnet solenoids on Normally Open valves and systems:

With conventional solenoid operators:

2/2 NO single valves with conventional solenoid operator.
• One port connection on top of the solenoid necessary.
• Flow capacity restricted.

With push-magnet solenoid operators:

2/2 NO single valves with Push-Magnet solenoid operator.
• Simplified port connections, both at the body.
• Full body-orifice flow.

With conventional solenoid operators:

Two-station manifold with one 2/2 NC and one conventional 2/2-NO valve.
• Port connection on top of the NO valve necessary.
• Restricted flow of the NO valve.

With push-magnet solenoid operators:

Two station manifold with one 2/2 NC and one Push-Magnet 2/2-NO valve.
• Simplified connections, all port connections at the base.
• Full base-orifice flow.

With conventional solenoid operators:

Three-station manifold with three conventional 3/2-NO valves.
• Port connection on top of the NO valves necessary.
• Restricted flow.
• Common inlet not possible.

With push-magnet solenoid operators:

Three-station manifold with three Push-Magnet 3/2-NO valves.
• All inlet and outlets at the base.
• Full base-orifice flow possible.
• Common inlet and seperate outlets and
common outlet and separate inlets possible.

With conventional solenoid operators:

Sspecial six-station manifold system with three 2/2-NC operators and three conventional 2/2-NO operators.
• Port connection on top of the NO valves necessary.
• Restricted flow of the NO valves.

With push-magnet solenoid operators:

Six-station manifold system with three 2/2-NC operators and three Push-Magnet 2/2-NO operators.
• Simplified connections all at the base.
• Full base-orifice flow possible for all valves.
• NC and NO valves can be easily mixed mounted.

Smart valves

We introduce solenoid valves with 3 different types of new coils with built-in intelligence; called Smart Coils. Valves with Smart Coils can radically minimize energy consumption, allow much higher max pressure, or realize considerably higher flow rates than conventional similar sized solenoid valves.

The booster version can be used for considerably higher pressures or higher flow rates than conventional valves with same external dimensions.

The power saver, reduces the power consumption to 25 % or less, without effecting max allowed pressure of the valves. Especially for battery use there is the 6 – 24V= range of very low consumption versions to enlarge battery life.

The converter type has a built-in AC to DC converter, especially suitable where very silent “no buzz” operating is important and the power supply is AC, or when shading rings cannot be used due to aggressive media.

Booster, saver and converter coils are available on all standard Flo Control valves and all operators.

These valves have exactly the same dimension and industry-standard connections including the electrical IP65 and IP67 connector, as the conventional Flo Control coils, even on the miniature 15 mm coil types.
